Help Clothe My People Ministries !

Hello everyone,
My name is Brenda and I am the organizer of Clothe My People Costa Rica. Before I get into why I am raising money, let me briefly tell you what this ministry is about.
In 2015, I went on a missions trip to Costa Rica with a few people from my church. We stayed in Costa Rica for 2 weeks and visited many places that were run down by poverty, drugs and violence. It was truly heartbreaking to see so many men, women and children in those situations. Because of that missions trip, I decided that 2 weeks was not enough and I needed to help even more. After coming back to the United States, it was in my heart to keep helping the people of Costa Rica, and thus Clothe My People was created.
Since then, I've collected clothes for men, women and children and sent them in boxes once a year. And every year since that first trip, our clothing donations have gotten bigger and has blessed more families. But this year, due to COVID-19, it has been challenging financially to send those boxes and being able to go over there to distribute them.
Now, I will explain why I have started this GoFundMe. The goal that we have set is $10,000 and this will cover the following:
-Shipment of the boxes that are already sealed and ready to be sent (we have 6 large boxes)
-Funds to cover our housing expenses and transportation to the many locations we will visit to distribute the clothing.
-We would like to purchase Bibles in Spanish for the people we meet so they can have the Word of God at hand.
-And lastly, we would like to purchase hygiene products such as toothpaste, deodorants, soaps, shampoos and conditioners.
This is our first time as a ministry to start a GoFundMe, and we would like to do this once a year to help us with our mission: Clothe all the people that we can and spread the love of God in this beautiful country that is dear to our hearts. Our goal is to raise this money by November 14th, 2020 so we can distribute them in January.
