Help Clean Up Clubhouse For Kids

Dear Friends and Loved Ones,
As many of you are well aware, our daycare has undergone a significant challenge due to the recent flooding. In the 17 years we have been open for business, our family has been so fortunate to make lasting friendships and consider our participation in this community to be an absolute blessing. Year after year, day after day, we've been so proud to teach the values of honesty, trust and of supporting one another. Caring for others and helping them grow is the very foundation on which Clubhouse for Kids has been built. I would be amiss if I didn't acknowledge that this recent flood has put us in a situation that is less than comfortable. One that, even as I write this, I am not sure I can put into words accurately how it feels to now have to ask others for support. It just simply hasn't been our role and is a level of vulnerability that I cannot describe. We are the carers. We are the teachers.
However, as we've navigated these waters (quite literally) it is all of you that have shown us that the values we've taught go both ways. We have a terrific staff that has developed over the years as an extension of our own family and they have spent so much time helping us clean up after this. While we were crushed to see that we had to throw practically everything we built over the years out, they have been there encouraging and working right along side us.
We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and donations to help us get back on our feet and many of you have asked what is the best way to support us, so we have decided to make this page for ease and convenience for all of you wonderful souls who have supported us throughout this journey. Words cannot express how grateful we are to all of you.
At this point, this is where we are:
Insurance is barely able to help us with the cost of restoration.
As described above, we have lost almost all of our materials and supplies.
Most importantly, with the financial strain this has caused, we have lost income that supports the wages of our incredible staff.
We are working tirelessly to get back on our feet and every little bit that you can offer puts us that much closer to getting the children back into the amazing environment we were previously able to provide. ANY and EVERY amount helps.
