Help Clara Run Like the Wind Again

Clara needs surgery now !

We can't wait any longer and hope she gets better on her own. She won't. Clara has progressed to the point she can not get up without help and walking dragging this huge lump that has developed over the last three years . It has grown bigger and bigger and all this time the vet has said just watch it. Tonight she has taken a turn for the worst and now she is having troubling going to the bathroom. Clara is a little girl but this mass now covers her from under her right arm to her back leg. Any movement pulls at it and she is in a lot of pain. It drags the ground. We took her to another vet who says it must come off now as it is pulling at her back causing it to pull to one side.

Nothing was impossible for Clara! Well things at our home right now are feeling quite impossible. Our impossible girl needs surgery ! And she cannot wait much longer ! Clara is having a lot of trouble walking, sleeping and going to the bathroom. We cannot wait much longer for this surgery. If you can help us help her we would be so grateful. No amount is too small.

Clara is our sweet little blue and white mini Aussie ! four years ago we were brushing our sweet girl and we found a little lump on her tummy. It was about the size if a quarter. We had our vet at the time take a look at it. She said don't worry about it . It's harmless. At the following years check up it had grown Again , don't worry I doubt if it will get any bigger. So we again waited , BIG mistake ! The third year the lump had grown so much that it now attaches to he back of her leg and pulls at her leg everytime she tries to walk. Now tonight she is having a really hard time going to the bathroom because she cannot hold her hips up as the are being pulled to the right. It is breaking our hearts. She is the best girl.

Her sister and brother doggies run and fly but Clara has taken to sadly just watching them... It covers the space on her tummy to her leg, about 10" long and 8" wide. She has a terrible time walking and it seems to be pulling her back crooked and it goes fron her back right leg to cover most of the rightside of her tummy. My husband built a ramp to the back yard because she could not do the steps. I feel so awful for not getting another opinion. We now have a new vet that says Clara needs to have it removed soon ! It has come at the worst time for us. I have Parkinsons stage 3 and poly periphenal neuropthathy. I am in severe pain most of the time. So everything falls on my husband of 47 years. Clara and I both need surgeries,soon.

When we put the ramp in she was so happy ! We would encourage her to walk by saying Run like the wind Clara! She runs up that ramp as fast as she can !!

What is the bravest thing I have ever said ?

HELP!

Asking for help isn't giving up--- It's refusing to give up ! Tears fall for a reason. They are your strength not weakness.!

So here we are . If you can help us help Clara please do, That sweet little girl deserves it.

Clara's surgery is going to be an estimated $808. to 1676 . Which sounded very reasonable to us. . At the same time we are struggling to meet my medical bills now as I have been dxed with Parkinson's and severe polyperipheral neuropathy. My first of three sugeries coming this Fall . My legs, arms,feet and hands are extremely painful and numb. This is making it next to impossible to pay for all of Clara's surgery! . I am 70 years old and always thought we were prepared for retirement but then a serious illness lets you know you were not so prepared.
