<div>The Cherokee Cadet program is a nonprofit for teens who are dedicated to learning about law enforcement and serving their community. One of our Cadets, Clara, is facing a difficult medical situation at only 15 years old. What was expected to be a routine hip procedure became a far more complex surgery, bringing significant pain, a long recovery, and mounting expenses for her family.

<div>To support Clara at home, her family has already had to purchase a hospital bed, and the ongoing costs of medication, food, and in-home care continue to grow. These expenses have placed a real strain on the household during an already stressful time.
