<div>I’m raising funds to replace £1,436 that was stolen from my work van on Friday, 10th October, while I was working in Southall, London. 
</div>

<div>I work for a company called Strictly Sales, and part of my role involves visiting independent retailers and convenience stores. I buy stock from cash-and-carries on company credit at a discounted price and sell it to shops as part of a sales and marketing drive. I don't make any profit from the sales and only earn a daily rate.
</div>

</div>
<div>Unfortunately, because I was working from the back of the van at the time and the money bag was in the front, the theft isn’t covered by insurance. It appears someone had been watching and took the opportunity while I was focused on my work. As a result, my company now needs me to repay the full amount, but I simply don’t have the means to cover this unexpected loss.

<div>Just to be transparent — this incident was reported to the police at the time, and they are hoping to recover some CCTV footage, but the money will never be recovered, even if they catch the perpetrator.
</div>

<div>For reference: The theft happened on Friday 10th October in Southall, London, and the case reference number is 01/8068512/25. For obvious I can't post any pictures here of me working and the van.
</div>

<div>I’m devastated, as I take pride in my work and have always been responsible with money. I’m not someone who ever expected to need to ask for help — but this situation has left me with no other choice.
</div>
