This fundraiser is for my best friend and Crestwood alumni, Cindy Jones. Cindy has had a rough time over the past few years dealing with the complications from a brain surgery, and meningitis, that has left her bedridden and mostly immobilized. She has been stuck in a nursing home facility in less than optimal conditions. She cannot sit in a traditional chair or wheelchair as it cannot recline into a position that allows her to breathe properly or sit upright at all.

We are hoping to raise funds for this wheelchair so that she can get up and mobile in order to enjoy any activities at the nursing home or even get to go outside for some much-needed sunshine and fresh air. Her insurance will not cover the costs of such a chair and so she is relegated to the bed almost 100% of the time. Many of you know Cindy and/or her family and how active they are. Cindy’s spirits remain low though her hope is strong that she will one day regain use of her body. I hope that you will consider contributing to this go fund me account to help this amazing woman that I dearly love!
