<div>Last year my husband Chuck was diagnosed with stage 3D Melanoma. He had to have surgery to remove it from his back and lymph nodes from his arm pit and groin. He could only do a few immunotherapy treatments after surgery due to the immunotherapy taking a toll on his body. Cancer was supposedly gone. Fast forward to a month ago he has multiple nodules throughout his body. Also had MRI on brain. At least 5 showed up in his brain. So he is stage 4 now. Had his first immunotherapy treatment started up again a couple weeks ago. They are going to be adding in radiation treatments for the braincancer as well. The VA is trying to get approval to send him to the Huntsman Cancer Center so he gets more specialized treatment than the VA can give. I'm asking for donations to help with my loss of wages and gas to be able to take him to all his appts. (It's an hour drive 1 way to the Dr's/ hospital) VA provides some transportation, but not all. Also he can no longer drive himself due to mobility issues with swelling he's been having in his right leg. Might be lymphedema. We hopefully find that out this week.
