I’m Christyna, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself after a tragedy that changed my life in a matter of hours. On Wednesday, August 26, I was driving southbound down the Cuesta Grade when a vehicle traveling northbound crossed into my lane and hit me head-on. My boyfriend, who was in the passenger seat, was pronounced dead at the scene. I was taken to the hospital because of my injuries and to check on my baby. Soon after arriving at the ER, doctors had to perform an emergency C-section. My baby boy did not survive. I was 28 weeks pregnant, and in the span of just a few hours, I lost both my boyfriend and my son.

As I try to survive this heartbreak and recover from my injuries, I am also struggling with the weight of hospital bills, childcare for my other two children, and the many unexpected expenses that come with a loss like this. Right now, every day feels overwhelming, and I am doing my best to heal physically and emotionally while still being there for my children.

Any support would mean the world to me and my family during this time. Your donation will help cover my hospital bills, childcare, and other unforeseen needs while I recover. If you are unable to donate, sharing my story would also help more than I can express. Thank you for standing with me as I try to heal and move forward.
