It's time for me to do something all Earth signs despise - ask for help.

For those who don't know, I'm Christy and I'm an actor! I've trained with New Earth Actor's Academy, National Youth Theatre and Hoopla Improv. I'm signed with an acting agent, been getting self tapes requests, auditions and shortlisted for roles but I believe I've hit a point where I need training to actually book roles.

I've been wanting to do this intermediate acting course with The Actor's Cafe for almost 2 years but I've not been able to get ahead to cover both my living costs and do the course.

Which brings me here! On a real note, I feel very raw and vulnerable asking for help, especially financial help. I now leave myself in the hands of my community.

If I don't hit the full amount, I'll figure out a way to cover the rest but whatever you can do to help reduce the financial strain will be incredible.

I'm hoping to do this course with The Actor's Cafe . I've previously attended a taster session and it's officially recognised as a Spotlight listed part-time acting school so I'm certain about this one.

It's £525 for the course and I'll be attending 9 weeks of the course. Travel will be £9.40 a day, and GoFundMe takes 5%, meaning the total amount to do this is £640.08.

If I go over, purchasing a scene for my showreel is £50 so I'll use the money for that (I don't anticipate going much over)
