<div>In March of 2024, Kem was diagnosed with a squamous cell carcinoma on his tongue. Despite pursuing multiple treatment options, Kem transitioned at home suddenly that Wednesday morning, January 29, 2025. Given the swift and unexpected nature of his passing his doctor said it was either a heart attack, stroke, or blood clot in his lung.
