Help Chris Spinks and Family Take On Cancer

So many of us know them well: the amazing, loving, thoughtful and always active and engaging Spinks family.

And we all respect the heck out of Chris: a loving and doting family man, an astute intellectual and (dare it to be said) book nerd, a passionate volunteer and simply one of the kindest and most thoughtful humans we have the great pleasure of knowing.

Chris's circle is vast, varied and deep, and it came as devastating and shocking news to everyone last Thursday when his family shared that Chris was diagnosed with brain cancer - out of the blue. This a serious, somber and uncertain time for Chris, Gail and their three amazing boys. But their circle of support can help lift them up.

Chris has already undergone brain surgery and is now recovering in Eugene; his medical team is collaborating this week on next steps. But the treatments and timelines are uncertain, the medical bills and required travel are forthcoming, and all of the associated expenses will quickly add up.
