<div>Christopher Broussard is a multi-talented musician from Hammond, Louisiana. He is a single father of three whose sole income is dependent upon his weekly scheduled live gigs.

<div>Chris's sudden diagnosis of colon cancer on March 29th led to an immediate unplanned colon resection on Thursday, April 3rd.
</div>
<div>Chris is known in Southeast Louisiana for being one of the hardest working musicians around. He currently plays in the New Orleans band CATEGORY 6, his 3-piece band TRIM and plays no less than 3 solo acoustic gigs a week.
</div>
<div>Since Chris's diagnosis he has been forced to cancel all scheduled gigs until further notice.
</div>
<div>Chris will not know the defined plan of treatment or for how long he will be out of work until the pathology results are back and discussed with his oncology team. A simple trip to the ER turned into an unforseen medical emergency and instant financial hardship.
</div>
<div>In addition to Chris's regular monthly living expenses his daughter will be graduating high school in May. She has been accepted into the honors program at LSU and will be attending fall semester 2025.
</div>
<div>Chris, being the humble man that he is, was quite hesitant to allow us to start a Go Fund Me. After much convincing he has agreed and will be most appreciative for any donations during this time of need.
</div>
<div>He would like to thank each and every individual that has supported his music over the years and plans to be back entertaining as soon as he can.
