Hi everyone, my name is Chris. I'm a single father of a loving son who moved to a new state away from all my family and friends in hopes of cheaper living. Turns out, wherever you go these days, everything is expensive. I'm a God-fearing man just trying to make it on my own. I have experienced homelessness before and don't ever want to go back. I'm currently blessed to have an apartment, but every month I'm barely making ends meet. It's so hard by myself. Sometimes I cry because I barely have food to eat. Last month, I almost got kicked out of my apartment; they even gave me a 5-day notice. But thank God I just made the deadline. This upcoming month is looking like it's going to be the same thing. It's so depressing, and I lose so much sleep just staying up trying to think about how I'm going to make it. All I ask for is a little help so I have enough time to save up and get ahead for once.
