<div>In October 2023, our beloved friend Chona Navaro faced an unexpected and life-altering event: a spinal cord injury that resulted in paralysis of her right leg and other various medical issues. This incident has brought upon numerous challenges, from weeks of hospitalization to ongoing outpatient physical therapy, which is projected to continue indefinitely. This journey has been physically and financially taxing.

<div>One such necessity - a functional electrical foot and thigh device - crucial for her mobility and rehabilitation, was unfortunately denied by her insurance provider, adding another layer of difficulty to her recovery process.
