<div>Our Modern-Day Miracle: Chloè’s Journey
</div>
<div>A miracle is a supernatural gift that only God can give—and that’s exactly what He did when He brought Chloè into this world on December 26, 2012.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741732430671018_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Born via C-section, Chloè wasn’t able to take her first breath. Doctors quickly realized she needed to be rushed to Egleston Hospital, but the odds were stacked against her—she was given only a 45% chance of surviving the transport and, if she made it, only a 50% chance of surviving on the ECMO machine that could keep her alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741732000848842_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Placed in a medically induced coma and connected to the ECMO machine, we were told this was not a solution—just a way to buy her time. But through the power of prayer and a community of warriors interceding on her behalf, Chloè did what only God could make possible:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She came off ECMO in just 10 days.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741731883177453_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She then underwent surgery to repair her right Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH)—and that’s when doctors encountered something they had never seen before. Chloè’s liver and lung were fused together. After pausing mid-surgery to research this rare condition, they found only eight known survivors. Rather than separate them, the doctors decided to close her diaphragm as tightly as possible and trust the outcome.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>BUT GOD!
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741732096519611_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite also being diagnosed with kidney damage, heart valve complications, and a right lung functioning at only 20% capacity, Chloè’s left lung adapted, taking on the characteristics of the right. Her oxygen levels remained at an astonishing 90-98%—a true miracle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over four months in the NICU, Chloè endured multiple procedures. Doctors assumed she’d go home on oxygen and with multiple medical devices. Instead, she left with only a G-tube—smiling and ready to conquer the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_174173214053195_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But her journey didn’t end there.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the next five years, Chloè faced dialysis, a kidney transplant, and numerous surgeries. Yet, after every procedure, her recovery was faster than average, as if she were immune to pain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741732268996500_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741732348472516_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Where she has struggled, however, is finding the right educators who believe in her potential—teachers who see her brilliance and are dedicated to bringing it out.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741732484570604_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s why The Harbour School is a game-changer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At The Harbour School, class sizes are small (only 7-10 students per teacher), and every educator is committed to nurturing the unique strengths of their students. This is the perfect environment for Chloè to thrive, grow, and continue defying the odds.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help
</div>
<div>Philippians 1:6 tells us:
</div>
<div>"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741732548432947_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>God’s plan for Chloè is not finished yet!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Harbour School is a non-public institution, meaning tuition must be covered. While we are awaiting potential funding through Baltimore County, there is an immediate deposit of $9,506 required within the next 7-10 days to secure her spot.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We need your help to make this happen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Consider this an opportunity for:
</div>
<div>✔ A tax-deductible donation
</div>
<div>✔ A charitable contribution
</div>
<div>✔ A random act of kindness that will change a child’s life
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89482215_1741732584464474_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support—no matter the amount—brings Chloè one step closer to the education she deserves and the bright future God has planned for her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s rally together and help Chloè continue the journey God has gifted her with.
</div>
