Chiquito is my friendly orange cat who loves being outdoors, sunbathing with the neighborhood cats, and curling up at the corner of my bed. He’s always been adventurous and brings so much joy to my life with his playful and loving nature. 
 
 
 At the end of December, Chiquito went missing. After days of searching, a kind neighbor let me know they had found him and cared for him until I could bring him home. When I took him to the vet, I learned that Chiquito had likely been run over and suffered three broken bones in his hind legs. The news was heartbreaking, but I’m determined to do everything I can to help him recover. 
 
 
 Chiquito has already had X-rays and received medication, which was a significant expense. He’s scheduled for surgery next week to repair his broken bones, and the costs are overwhelming. The funds raised will go directly toward his medical bills, surgery, and the follow-up care he’ll need to heal and hopefully return to his happy, sunbathing self.

I lost another cat to cancer at the end of last year, so it’s been especially hard thinking about losing another pet so soon.
