Help Chickas Vet Bills

Edit. We are absolutely blown away by your generosity and we can not thank you all enough, we are a long way from safe and still don’t have answers but we have been able to have her on fluids, nutritional supplements, symptomatic medications and a few different antibiotics to which she has responded well but not quite well enough. The bleeding has stopped and she was able to come home for the weekend. Our Vet team have been amazing at keeping her comfortable. We are crossing fingers and toes that this week sees further improvement and potential answers, but at the very least we were given the opportunity to have more cuddles!! Thanks again from all of us!!!

A few days before Christmas Chicka started weeing blood, the vet thought UTI or Rat Poisoning, since then those tests have come back negative. In the last 3 days Chicka has deteriorated rapidly. She had been admitted to hospital, she is pooing blood too, unable to keep food down, lethargic and losing weight.  So far the tests and treatment have not helped and we are just keeping her alive at this stage. She needs a specialist Ultrasound and ongoing tests to find out what’s going on. We would really love to save our little girl but we are running out of money after the last vet admission. The ultrasound alone is $750 and out daily bills are about $300.

Please, if you have a few dollars spare we would really appreciate the support. She is a part of our family and we just want to know what is going on in her precious little body. 

We aren’t ready to say goodbye without at least saying we tried.
