 While visiting Jamaica for the first time in almost a decade, <strong>Chef Jason Briscoe was struck by a truck while riding his bicycle, suffering multiple life-threatening injuries</strong>. By the grace of God, Jason is currently stable, but he is still facing a long and difficult road ahead.

 Jason urgently needs to be<strong> airlifted from Jamaica to a hospital in Florida</strong>, where he can receive the specialized medical care he needs including surgeries. <strong>His recovery will require extensive treatment, rehabilitation, time and care.</strong>

 Anyone who knows Jason knows that he is passionate about cooking and has built a community online by sharing traditional Jamaican recipes and his love for the culture.
