Chatvita [the man with the hat] was severely injured in a motorcycle accident on his way to work this past week. Most of his injuries were sustained to his head, resulting in multiple cranial fractures. He is currently in the hospital, intubated, and fighting desperately for his life. He works almost every day with his parents in the marketplace in La Piedad. After his tiresome days, he goes home to his little girl and wife, even helping his mother-in-law with their plot of farmland. This man gives so much to his family while being so young. Now we are struggling to keep up the financial onslaught of his current medical needs.
