Dear members of the community,
We are calling upon you to help support a wonderful family that has done so much for the people of our town. On August 8, 2018, Chad and his wife Laura got the news that their 10 year old son, Chase, has cancer. We are so grateful to say that his cancer is treatable, however, he will have to undergo many intense rounds of chemotherapy. Chase has a long hard fight in front of him, but he is a warrior. We have set up this GoFundMe in order to relieve some of the financial burden this has and will continue to put on the family. The most important thing during this time, is that all of their attention be focused on the healing of their son, rather than the financial stress that will undoubtedly be present.
Chad and Laura have done so much for our community and have changed many people's lives for the better. Chad is a Physical Therapist in town that has helped hundreds return back to sports, work, and active lifestyles. Laura is a personal trainer who has also helped so many people achieve healthy and happier lives. With the recent diagnosis, Laura has decided to put her job on hold so that she able to be there for her son. Eliminating one income is going to make things tight for the Hancock family.
As many of you know, both Chad and Laura lead very active lifestyles, a trait in which they have passed on to their son. Chase is a born athlete and has always loved playing sports and being active. Many people have come to their family in hopes of continuing their health and activities, and this family has delivered, without fail, every single time. We are calling on our community to help them in their time of need, the way they have helped so many of you. Every thought, every prayer, and every dollar helps Chase fight this disease, and helps his family support him in every possible way.
All donations will be given to the Hancock family for medical expenses and any other need they may have during this difficult time.
