Help Charli through Ketoacidosis

Hey everyone,

I got Charli 6 years ago and she’s been super healthy up until 8 months ago. She was diagnosed with diabetes and we have managed it to the best of our ability, but her health has declined rapidly in the past week. She went from a healthy 58 lbs to 36 lbs in less than a year and it’s really hard to see her so sick. Our recent visit with our vet proved to show she had Keto Acidosis, which can be fatal if not treated. She’s still pulling through as I am feeding her and making her drink water. She’s super lethargic, but I just spoke to the pet hospital and they said that if we can get her in there they can give her the insulin treatment she needs, but it’ll will be $500/day plus the cost of special insulin, which is $200. I can cover partial of it, but I just don’t make as much money as I used to. This could be up to 5 days.

It’s really hard to deal with this sickness and I’ll forever be grateful for any amount you’d be able to share. It’s probably a long shot, but I really hope you can help and I’ll be forever grateful.
