<div>Charley was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in August of 2023. She went through extensive chemotherapy and ultimately had her left leg amputated. In April of 2024, Charley finished her last round of chemo and rang the bell! She was cancer-free!

<div>Charley got her routine scans in June of 2025, and we were told that her cancer had returned and was in the right leg. It was determined that the best course of action was to amputate the right leg and then continue onto a chemo pill for the rest of her life.
</div>

<div>However, this would not be the case. When the pathology report came back, it was determined that the margin was negative, though there was evidence of lymphovascular invasion, meaning cancer cells in the vessels surrounding the tumor site, so even more risk of recurrence. There is no current cancer anywhere, just a higher risk, which is leading us to do IV chemo.

<div>Charley’s parents and grandparents will spend at least the next 6 months going back and forth to the hospital. There are two other children that need to be cared for as well, trying to keep them on a routine. Football will be starting for Charley’s brother, Cayde. Charley’s sister is autistic and needs to have as normal of a routine as we can try to provide her, which is very difficult during all of this. During all of this, the children will be starting school soon, which comes with more expenses.

<div>The family is drowning in bills and needs all the help they can get with all the new added expenses of traveling to the hospital weekly and also maintaining a household for the other children.
