<div>For months, I was without work after losing my job because I spoke up about sexual harassment. Those months without an income put us further and further behind financially. I fell behind on our bills and housing costs while desperately trying to find work and keep our lives from falling apart.

<div>I am working again now. I am doing everything I can to rebuild what was lost, but I am trying to climb out of a financial hole that became far too deep while I was unemployed. Unfortunately, I am running out of time.

Because of the abuse and circumstances he has experienced, this is something I have fought desperately to prevent. The thought of being unable to keep my son in the home where he feels safe and instead having to watch him go somewhere I fear for his well-being is absolutely terrifying.
