Help Chad's Healing

July 13, 2017 Chad and his girlfriend Dasia were riding their motorcycle to get some supper after work. They started to go through an intersection when a car took a left turn right in front of them causing them to hit the side of the car. The car stopped briefly then sped off at a high rate of speed. Dasia got up, Chad did not.
Both Chad and Dasia were taken to the hospital. Dasia's right arm was broken and she had a laceration to her face yet was treated and released from the emergency room. Chad was not as lucky. He headed into surgery that night to repair his face due to having skin ripped right off. He had many facial fractures that they did not do anything with during this surgery.
He went into a 7 hour surgery the next morning to repair his arm that had 4 compound fractures, 2 above and 2 below his elbow, and nerve damage. He was told this could take up to 9 months to heal completely.
After 5 days in the hospital Chad was allowed to go home with a very long list of follow up appointments.
Since his release from the hospital he had an additional surgery for a skin graph on his face. They are yet unsure if he will have to have facial reconstruction due to the many facial fractures he received. He was told that his face could take up to a year to heal completely.
Chad and Dasia were interviewed by a local TV station a week after the accident. Interview
Recently he had a test done to see how reactive the muscle in his arm is. The results were not favorable, he is looking at another surgery to try to relocate nerves from another area of his body into his arm due to the nerves being crushed from the accident. The hope is that by doing so he will be able to move the muscle in his arm and in that his wrist.
Prior to the accident Chad was a forman on a roofing crew, now he could be out of work up to a year due to his injuries. Any donations will help with both medical and other bills.
