Help CD McRae Escape To Florida

When I joined Liberty Twitter at the end of 2020, I quickly realised just how much of a dumpster fire it really is. But it does have its good moments. And CD McRae is one of them. She's been involved in the Australian Liberty Network that I founded since Day 1, and all of us have been impressed by her resilience and determination, and also her ability to keep us talking on livestreams for hours, so much so that its become a running joke. She taught herself how Australian politics works, and now edits articles that I write on that topic, because if she can talk for hours, then I can write for hours.

 

What's even more impressive is that she's done all of this on top of dealing with rocky relationships with her parents and her husband, Ryan. Despite that, she persisted in trying to repair her marriage, and a couple of months ago moved from Louisiana to Austin, Texas with Ryan. Always willing to put others first, she persisted despite many of her close friends telling her that they could see the writing on the wall, even as the relationship continued to deteriorate. Eventually she agreed that she had to leave him, and was working on a plan to move out. However, a few nights ago that was thrown out the window. After being physically and sexually assaulted by her drunk husband, to the point that she could have been seriously injured, she had no choice but to take her dog, Lincoln, and a few personal belongings, and leave. But even then, she made sure that he wouldn't choke on his vomit in his sleep.

 

CD is only 31, and doesn't deserve this. Myself, the team at the Australian Liberty Network, Shannon Lee, and her close friends want to make sure that she doesn't become another statistic. Her situation has not crushed her spirit, and she keeps on going by telling herself that 'everything is temporary,' but she has so much potential in life, and we don't want to see that wasted. She's currently at an undisclosed location out-of-state and is trying to move to Florida, where she has friends who can help her get back on her feet. As an Australian, there isn't much that I can do to help in Florida, but I still can help her get back on her feet. That's why I and the rest of ALN are asking you to give what you can to help her out. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
