<div>30 years ago this summer, I broke my neck and my jaw two weeks before my 14th birthday. Doctors decided to turn me into a pain medication patient for 7 1/2 years before finally having surgery, which at that point revealed the severity of nerve damage and disc degeneration that was already permanent.

<div>I have herniated, bulging, slipped, and fractured discs from the skull to the bottom vertebrae, with severe hereditary degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, ankylosing spondylitis, stage 4 osteoporosis, and osteoarthritis.

<div>I've had multiple spine surgeries, one leading to paralysis in my leg for nearly 2 years (2010-2012).

<div>After that, I detoxed myself from all drugs and prescriptions, began a healthy lifestyle, and finally became a mom to my kiddo.

<div>So, at birth, a full-term healthy baby is born with over 1 million healthy stem cells, which is what gives the body the ability to heal during its lifetime. By the time you hit 30, most people are depleted to a couple hundred to last the rest of your life. If you have issues, especially in your spine, that can deplete your stem cells tremendously.
