My Name is Cassie Smith, I am wanting to rally support for my friend and office manager Tracy Pressgrove and her daughter CC.
CC was just recently diagnosed with a very rare brain disease called NMDA Encephalitis. This disease came from nowhere and has changed CC's life and her family's lives forever.
CC was just a regular 16 year old, and has never had health issues before. She started suffering debilitating seizures about a month ago.
CC and her mother have been in out of the hospital for the past month and it is taking a toll on everyone, especially their family.
CC's mom Tracy is a single mom of 5 children and she has been struggling to provide for her family, be there for her daughter CC, and her other children at home.
They are also experiencing car troubles, which is problematic because CC is being cared for at the children's hospital in Aurora, Colorado.
They need a reliable car to get Tracy to and from the hospital for CC and her children at home.
