After Lee West's Sudden Passing, Help Cass Save their Home

Donation protected
My name is Cassandra. I just lost my soulmate, the love of my life, the love I had been waiting for my whole life. And in one traumatic instant, I lost my beloved husband Lee West to a deadly V Fib Cardiac Arrest on our anniversary of our first date, our marriage proposal, and our wedding celebration - July 24th. July 24th became very symbolic for us as it relayed that we loved each other 24/7.

Lee was my best friend, my favorite thought. He gave me such deep, purposeful love in the 7 years we were together. I thank God that we had those 7 years together to love each other immensely. My heart is broken. And I am not sure how to go about the process of living without him, the other half of my soul. We were so soulfully connected that I feel our love will never end & I take refuge in that.

Lee and I had dreams of a family and we were just days away from undergoing IVF to hopefully make our family dream come true. And days before the procedure, he collapsed from the cardiac arrest and was too soon taken away from me. We had a storybook love and so suddenly, it turned into a nightmare. The poetry he wrote to me remains, which gives my heart reprieve from all the aches that reverberate daily.

As we were so focused on paying off his past debts and paying for IVF treatments, we hadn't been able to reach the point of creating a reserve of savings yet. And we always assumed that Lee's social security check would be there to cover the mortgage for our dream home that we had begun to build together. Yet I have discovered that because Lee and I were not yet married for a full 10 years, I will not receive any of his social security money to help me pay for our home.

If anyone feels compelled to donate any amount to help me save the home that we built together, to help cover remaining hospitalization fees, or for memorial costs, I welcome whatever your soul directs.

If there is one thing people take away from the experience of Lee's sudden passing, please let it be: spread love and kindness at all times; live each moment as if it could be your last!

Bless you all.
