Hi, I am Cassandra's mom, Mercy.
CASSANDRA, CJ, needs teeth. CJs teeth cracked and dissolved in her mouth from years of medications and vomiting from her medical issues. She has had more than one bout of sepsis directly due to the infections in her teeth. Dentures are her only option but... she had all her teeth removed just before Covid and then the denture appt was canceled. Now it has been so long that her bottom jaw doesn't have enough of a ridge to fit normal dentures. She needs the kind that use the implants to lock them in place. These aren't covered by her insurance. It costs $2k per implant. She needs at least 5 and a bone graft, then the cost of the special dentures. I want to give her her beautiful smile back with the ability to chew food again.

- Hello I'm Cassandra and I suffer from a birth defect and chronic illness that I've had since a child but it only fully bared it's teeth in the last eight years. I have been in an out of the ER over a hundred times in the span of just a few years, so much so I no longer have stable veins from years of IVs and completely depend on a port for all medications an blood draws now. As many doctors have said my veins have turned to glass. An now due to 4 pulmonary embolisms I need an O2 machine most of the time.
- Things I Suffer from regularly is crippling never ending pain, hard time breathing when over exerted from the embolisms, two in each lung. Regular nausea an vomiting
- My vision is impacted due to brain damage from one of my bouts of sepsis and causes my eye to drift.
- I'm really scared of not getting the implants in time as just a few years without teeth my face has atrophied an now I look gaunt even if I smile. I don't even want to do outside anymore as folks think I'm a recovering meth addict. I've lost my freedom an now I have lost all self esteem. My illness has truly taken everything from me.
