<div><strong>Devastatingly, our very dear friend Carys Dawson has been diagnosed with childhood cancer, again.</strong> After first being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2020, and going through two very long, hard years of treatment for blood cancer, Carys has sadly relapsed. This is every oncology family's worst nightmare and a fear that Carys's whole family now has to face.

<div>Imagine having already fought for 2 hard years, being so incredibly sick, losing your hair, stuck in an isolation room with no visitors, and desperately missing your friends. Then to feel like you're in the clear, returning to school, growing your hair back and finally being able to put it in a ponytail, feeling like a normal kid and a normal family again... only to get the news that you have to go all the way back to the starting line and do it all again.

<div>I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent plea. The Dawson family - Laura, Mark, Carys and Cohle - have already endured so much, and we are rallying together to offer our unwavering support in this second round of their fight.

<div>A childhood cancer diagnosis is incredibly challenging, both emotionally and financially. Add relapse into that equation and it's unbearable.
