Meet Carrie, a lifelong musician and composer who believes that music is the most profound way to process the world and connect with others. 
 
 
 Music has always been the thread running through Carrie’s life. After years of dedication, she earned her master’s degree in music composition later in life—a dream she pursued step-by-step because creating music is how she communicates and gives something meaningful back to the world. However, Carrie has lived most of her life hard of hearing. For decades, she went without hearing aids because she simply could not afford them. As insurance rarely covers these devices and costs continue to climb, her ability to clearly hear the world around her began to slip away. 
 
 
 Ten years ago, Carrie was finally able to purchase her first pair of hearing aids. They changed everything for her, allowing her to hear conversations, rehearse with others, and compose with clarity. Now on her second pair, the devices are failing. As a musician, basic hearing aids are not enough. Carrie requires high-fidelity aids that transmit sound accurately across a wide frequency range, especially for professional rehearsal and performance environments.
