Help Carrie fix her mobility scooter and car

I’ve started this fundraiser because my best friend is disabled and is currently stuck with no way of getting her child to school or to get herself to her hospital appointments (1hr away) and I would like to help them.

Someone did this for me a few years ago to raise money for a wheelchair & Walker for me and it made a huge impact to my quality of life and independence which I greatly appreciated!

Carrie is a single parent with a 5 year old child and suffers from peripheral neuropathy quite severely which means her mobility is severely reduced, she barely sleeps and is in constant pain. She also suffers with severe cramps and tremors among many other painful, debilitating symptoms. She’s recently had surgery to remove 5cm of the Sural nerve in her ankle causing permanent loss of feeling in her lower leg and extreme nerve pain, She has regular, important hospital appointments to attend and of course she needs to be able to get her child to school each day. As luck would have it her car and her mobility scooter have both died on her literally days apart from each other leaving them confined to her home, isolated and without transport, with an urgent hospital appointment coming up in a couple of weeks.

I would like to raise enough money for her to be able to get her car fixed so she can get to her hospital appointments and to get her scooter fixed so she can get to the school and back.
