Help Carol & John Relaunch their Retirement!!

Carol and John were  preparing  for the start of their retirement and relocation to Winnipeg, getting the moving truck fully packed with all their worldly belongings on June 20/19.  Speaking to the caring and dedicated individuals they are, were cleaning and preparing the place they called home for the next tenant all the next day thus, they did not get on the road until Friday evening. Due to their own exhaustion and always wanting to be safe, they decided to stay in Abbotsford at the Sandman for the night. When they went to leave from Abbotsford the next morning the moving truck was gone with all their possessions. The police found the U Haul truck in Guildford with smashed windows empty of any of their possessions, including a scooter, irreplaceable memorabilia from a lifetime of teaching and crafting, as well as rare one of a kind items that Carol's father had made them!         
       
      As you can imagine, this was devastating and not the plan they had for their journey into retirement to be with family in  Winnipeg. Their family has been a huge support to them, gathering items to furnish the condo they are moving into.  As they await any insurance claim to be processed, their is little they can do, with the outcome unknown.

      Carol has been a colleague, mentor, friend, office mate, confidante and supporter of mine. I am asking on her behalf if you could contribute any amount to the Go Fund me page at this difficult time, I know it would help immensely! This could  include money for food, clothes, furniture and airfare due to  flying  to Winnipeg  on short notice after their transportation was stolen. as you can imagine to start from scratch as you are entering retirement  is not an easy endeavour, let alone moving across provinces.  As a friend, I am asking for you to please help in any way you can, I know that John and Carol would never ask for help, but the support will mean the world to them.
