Help Carol Kick Cancer's Butt

On Saturday, June 10 our beloved Carol was admitted to the hospital with severe stomach problems. By Thursday evening, Carol had been diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer, which we learned has also spread to her lungs. Carol and her family are devastated but not without hope. The treatment plan to fight this very aggresive cancer consists of chemo and potentially surgery, combined with a holisitic plan of diet and spirital support. Carol has put her faith in the Lord to get her through this, and we intend to augment her faith with every possible cancer-fighting solution put on this earth.

Any small amount of support for Carol is deeply appreciated by her and the family. So many of us have been blessed by her spirit and presence as a mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, wife, and teacher that it is now our turn to show her love in this trying time. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer, and sadly it is all too common to see these campaigns to support our family, friends, and community. And as we all know, the best care and treatment costs money. While insurance covers some things, portions of the major treatments and all the daily holisitic changes are not. And while her ability to work has been put on pause, living expenses definitely have not.
