Help Carol and Brett through this difficult time

Dear Family and Friends,

 

It is with great sadness to let you know that our father, Tom Stalvey, passed away in his home on Thursday, March 4, 2021.  He was dearly loved by his family and was extremely proud of his children as well as grandchildren. Tom (PopPop!) was a grandfather to our four grandchildren, all under seven years old.  Tom was also an Air Force Veteran and he fought valiantly in the Vietnam war. 

As we deal with the grief of burying our father, we are now struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the services.  Unfortunately, when unprecedented events happen like this, it is often the adult children like ourselves that are left with a heavy financial burden. 

Since we both live out of state - several hundred miles away - our costs of travel expenses are adding up as we spend time away from our jobs and families. In order to wrap up my fathers estate, we expect to come to North Carolina several times over the next few weeks. Any donation, big or small, would be a huge blessing to us. In addition, we ask that you keep my father in your prayers as we miss him terribly already.
