Carly and her family have called Circle Pines, MN home for the past seven years. Recently, their lives were turned upside down when they returned from a short vacation to find their house completely flooded due to a plumbing issue that was out of their control. The landlord’s neglected repairs led to a running toilet, and the damage was so severe that the home is now unlivable. Insurance confirmed it was nobody’s fault, but the result has left Carly, her husband, and their three daughters without a place to stay.

For the past two weeks, Carly’s family has been living in a hotel, struggling to find a new home. The girls missed the first week of school, and the family is facing the overwhelming challenge of paying for temporary housing while also trying to come up with the deposit and first month’s rent for a new place.
