<div>
 Aloha friends,
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 This is Carlos &amp; Chloé from Kokoleka Collective. You might have met us at the farmers markets pouring cacao, at Hideaways snorkeling, surfing, or traveling...
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 As many on the island of Kaua'i, <strong>we got hit pretty hard by Hurricane Lowell, and our home got torn to pieces.</strong> The structure of the Yurt snapped during the storm, and, as you can see in pictures, there is not much left standing.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>We completed the construction of our new yurt &amp; home exactly a month ago.</strong> We put all our savings into buying &amp; building this so we can keep tending to our work and mission here on Mama Kaua'i.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We only got to spend one night in it before leaving the island for Chloé to meet Carlos' family...
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Carlos put so much. sweat, blood and tears into building this.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Chloé came to Kaua'i for a 24h layover when we met 1.5 years ago, and after love at first sight, we have been navigating the hurdles of her being a foreigner in the US; needing to leave every few months for visas, not being able to work legally here, and much more.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Love has gotten us through all this quite smoothly, although, now,<strong> we can't afford to just buy another yurt, and really need help to rebuild.</strong> Whether you can come lend your hands to help, send a few bucks, or lend us a tent while we rebuild - anything helps!
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you can send, whether it is in prayers, a room to sleep in while we rebuild, a kind word of encouragement, or anything you feel able and happy to give.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 With all our love, gratitude, and humility - thank you.
</div>
