<div>Hi, my name is Carlos Thomas, Sr., and I am the father of Carlos Aundreek Prescott-Thomas, lovingly known as <strong><em>Baby Los</em></strong>. Hw was <strong>diagnosed with Barth Syndrome</strong>, a rare and life-threatening genetic disorder that affects the heart muscles, immune system, and energy production. This condition, which impacts only 1 in 300,000 births, attacking the heart, immune system and energy production.

<div>Since June 19, 2025, I've been by Baby Los' side full time at <strong>MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital </strong>in Charleston, South Carolina, as we fight for his life. Every day is a battle, but thanks to the dedication of his medical team and a carefully designed nutrition plan, Baby Los is showing strength and resilience beyond measure.
