<div>When I first saw the film, Carlos and Andres's journey touched me deeply. Despite experiencing homelessness, Carlos says, "San Francisco is our home," highlighting their profound connection to the city even in the hardest of times.

<div>Carlos and Andres attended the film's screening at GLIDE Memorial Church which was the first time I was able to meet them.  Your gift of financial support helps them navigate this challenging chapter of their lives. Every time a contribution is made I send it directly to Carlos.

<div><strong>Why your support matters: </strong>The father,<strong> </strong>Carlos, born and raised in San Francisco, has battled adversity since childhood. Raised in the Mission District, he overcame the challenges of having parents addicted to drugs and the loss of his father during his teenage years. Yet, his love for Francisco remains unshakeable. He is a devoted father, doing everything possible to provide a good life for his son.

<div>The son, Andres, a bright and optimistic fifth-grader at Spring Hill Elementary, mirrors his father's resilience. Despite past hardships, including time spent living on the streets and challenges at school, Andres looks forward to middle school with hope and enthusiasm. He is a die-hard Giants, Warriors and Niners fan.

<div>Recently, Carlos lost his job, making it difficult to afford basic necessities, let alone extras like gifts or school supplies for Andres. They have secured permanent housing at The Margot in SoMa, but their journey towards stability is far from over.
