Help Carin Become an LMT

Hi everyone,
I'm currently in school to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. I've been unemployed since before Covid, and my experience and disabilities ensure it's nearly impossible for me to fit work around school during the pandemic. I got into school because I wanted to help my comrades heal from the trauma of fighting for their rights in the streets. Once I am licensed, I will prioritize low income, queer, disabled, BIPoC and unhoused people in my work. I am committed to becoming a massage therapist, so I can better help my community heal and resist. But I have no ability to pay the fees associated with acquiring this license. I've had to take out significant student loans for my tuition. This itemized list does not cover any loan interest I acquire while paying it off, tuition covered by grants, linens, tools, uniform, or table.

I plan to graduate from East West College of Healing Arts in Sept, 2021, pandemic permitting. While I may not need all of these funds by that time, that will be when I end this crowdfund project, if I have not reached my goal before that.
