My name is Cari, and I am a spoken word poet who relies on my voice and my smile to connect with audiences every day. Recently, I chipped my tooth, and it has deeply affected my confidence and my ability to perform. As someone who shares stories and emotions through oral performance, not being able to smile or speak freely has been incredibly challenging.

 This chipped tooth has made me hesitant to open my mouth, which is at the heart of my art and my way of reaching people. It’s more than just a dental issue—it’s something that impacts my livelihood and my sense of self. I want to continue sharing my poetry and connecting with others, but I need help to get the treatment care necessary to restore my smile and confidence.
