Help Caregiver Judy Continue the Fight vs Ypsi Twp
Judy Pontius is a Michigan caregiver allowed up to 72 plants according to the Michigan Medical Marijuana laws. The township she lives in, Ypsilanti Township, took her all the way to the Michigan Supreme Court to become the first township in the state to force its caregivers to only be able to grow in an Industrial Zone. She has fought this battle alone over the last 2 years using her retirement savings and cannot continue without help. At the end, defeated and alone, she simply asked for enough time to finish her current grow for her patients and allow them time to find a new caregiver. The township would not budge and gave her 10 days to cut them all down but 12. She’s now hired Cannabis Legal Group attorney Barton Morris to try and overturn the Supreme Court decision before more townships start taking away caregiver’s rights. It’s already started, and she needs your help.
