help me get top surgery!

I am a 19-year-old transmasculine non-binary person & for years I have struggled with extremely poor body image, depersonalisation and gender dysphoria; which has only gotten more pronounced as I've got older. It is a constant, daily battle. Relentless and exhausting.

 

I binded for the first time when I was 13 years old, using 2 sports bras on top of one another. Binding does help with my dysphoria, but it is not a permanent solution. I frequently bind for longer than 8 hours because the back pain, shoulder pain and occasional rib bruising is a million times better than the crippling dysphoria i get when not binding. I just can't bear the thought of having to bind for the rest of my life.

 

I know that I will not be able to live my life to the fullest and feel happy and comfortable in my form until I have gotten top surgery. I want to get double incision top surgery, unfortunately, it takes 4+ years to do this on the NHS, so am having to go private. I am going with a reputable surgeon in London called Miles Berry. The surgery will be £9.3k which I am attempting to raise through working & this gofundme as there is no other way I will be able to afford this life-changing surgery. These costs go towards the surgery itself, as well as inital consultations, post-op hospital care, and resources such as dressings & compressions for after the surgery.

 

Any donations no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.

 

I can't live the rest of my life without getting surgery, I would be so dreadfully unhappy.
