Help Cara Beat Breast Cancer

My good friend and brother Paul’s girlfriend of 8 years Cara Baldwin has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 29. This diagnosis has turned both Cara’s and Paul’s worlds upside down.

There is a long journey ahead of Cara on her road to recovery, with 5 months of chemotherapy starting up this week, followed by surgery and radiation treatment. However, Cara, being the strong and determined woman that she is, plans to continue on with her studies during her treatment. She plans to continue to work on her Masters of Archeology that she just got accepted into this fall. Cara also plans to work part-time at her job for the time being but may have to discontinue depending on the effects of her chemotherapy. Cara and Paul are determined to do whatever they can in regard to fertility planning and hormone therapy for the future. Other expenses such as wigs, scarfs, and bras are something I do not want Cara to worry about and I am hoping you can help support Cara and Paul through this journey of healing and recovery.

Everyone who knows Cara, knows she is a caring, sweet, and a loving person. She has a gentle soul who loves to learn and is kind to everyone she meets. Please help me help Cara beat cancer.
