Help Capper keep FIGHTING!

A little over two years ago in Sept 2015, our dear friend and soul rockin' scenestress, Amanda Capper, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.
When she was told that 98% wouldn't survive past Christmas, she responded immediately by asking about the 2% that would. Even when given only a few months to live, she went at it full speed(the true Capper way) with an extensive treatment plan and an unabashed light beaming from her heart. With the help of her community and funds raised through benefits all over the country, she was able to sustain a number of treatments that helped keep that untamed fire in her radiating spirit burning bright. Not only did she live well past their expectations, but she continued pushing to follow her dreams as a musician. If you know Capper, you know there isn't a drop of fear in her eyes of what's to come, yet the reality of the recent scans show us that we must help prepare her for road ahead. The devil is in the details.
Although we knew her cancer had spread to her liver, spine and lungs, the new scans now show it is now in her brain and neck. The side effects from the tumors have been vision problems as well as seizures. After meeting with the neurologist, they will start a trial therapy to try and kill the cancer cells, as well as aggressive radiation to hopefully kill the tumors in her brain. It may even lead to brain surgery at some point.
She's come back to Colorado to seek treatment at the Anschutz Medical Center as well as to be with her community in a place surrounded in love. What she brings to the fight you can't buy in dollars and cents. It's the continued ass kicking drive that keeps doctor's guessing . Now we need to help her with the essentials to keep her going during the fight.
We are hoping to provide money to not only help with medical bills, a nutritionalist and a massage therapist for the incessant pain- but also the day to day expenses because as much as she wants to, and probably would try to- Capper is unable to work. There is also a trip home to Hawaii that she needs to take to be with her closest for a few weeks. This is a rally cry, y'all. And we at #teamcapper believe it can happen. She IS the 2%.
While money is the number one thing she needs, we are also hoping to create a hope wall of cards, drawings, flowers or fun gifts to keep her company while she begins the cancer ass kicking once again.
