Help Camisha

Camisha has been a part of our Good Company Café Family for almost as long as we've been open!

This young woman is the perfect example of how one person CAN make a difference.  Her can-do attitude and humor gets us through the longest day and gets you your orders with a big ol' smile and warm heart.  As a 4th year veterinarian student at Alabama A&M, Camisha has dedicated her spare time to serving our local community though her service at the café for over 2 years and BOY do we love her!

Recently, Camisha was involved in a serious car accident.  With multiple broken bones (including a broken pelvis, involving surgical placement of a metal rod), the recovery process will be long and tough (but not tougher than her)!  She spent one week in intensive care at Huntsville Hospital receiving life-saving surgery and gaining some strength.  Camisha has since been discharged to a locally located rehab facility where she and her family are beginning the long process of recovery, which for her means learning and retraining her body how to sit up, stand, walk, and coordinate her movements again!  Our hearts go out to her and her family, as we are sure yours does as well.

We're hoping this fundraiser can help offset the cost of school, rent, cost of living, and some of the extensive hospital bills Camisha will face while in recovery!  We miss her SO so much as part of our family at the cafe, every weekend that she's not there we can feel her absence in our hearts.  No one expects these accidents will actually happen to them...Camisha has plans, aspirations, and LIFE to LIVE!  Please help us in this small way to support her as she works hard everyday to get back to her normal, young, vibrant life.
