On Saturday, Caleb’s world changed when his beloved bike was stolen right in front of my home on Pine Forest Drive in the Southwind subdivision. Caleb, who is just 11 years old, loves nothing more than being outside, riding his bike, and exploring the beautiful outdoors. That bike wasn’t just a way to get around—it was a special gift from his grandmother, a symbol of his independence, and a source of pure joy. When the bike disappeared, it was heartbreaking for Caleb and his family. The loss was more than just physical; it was deeply emotional, especially since the bike held so much sentimental value. His family was understandably upset, and it’s been tough for Caleb to see his friends riding their bikes while he’s left without his. The thought of his family having to replace the bike is also a financial burden they shouldn’t have to bear. Since the theft, our neighborhood has come together, with neighbors searching and sharing information in hopes of finding the bike. While we’re still hoping for its return, I want to turn this difficult moment into something positive for Caleb. By raising funds for a new bike, we can help restore his sense of freedom, lift his spirits, and show him that kindness and community can overcome even the toughest setbacks. Your support—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser—will make a real difference for Caleb and his family. Thank you for helping bring back not just a bike, but a young boy’s smile.
