<div>At the time of me writing this, I am nineteen years old and a trans person living in the PNW in an abusive home. While I do have a job, it is barely enough to sustain me and my cat, Dusty, who is 14 years old.

<div>My mother is emotionally and mentally abusive. She is brainwashed by every piece of transphobic rhetoric she reads, she does not care for me or my needs, and badmouths me to my siblings. On May 31st, she confiscated my testosterone gel that was prescribed to me by my endocrinologist, as well as signed off by my PC (primary care) doctor and a psychiatrist. The authorities were unhelpful, and could not force her to give me the medicine back without me pressing charges.

<div>Earlier this year, her and I got into an argument about my name, which caused me to leave the house and bunk with a friend for a weekend. She still refuses to call me by my name at home, and only ever does it at my place of work to make herself look good. On top of that, she has hit me when I told her she didn't care about me or how I felt.

<div>I am desperate to get out of this house. I have no place to go, I have no other family to rely on, and I am on the edge of a second attempt at my own life.
