<div>Our journey to becoming a family hasn’t been easy. At just 27, Caitlin was diagnosed with breast cancer. Before starting chemotherapy, she made the difficult but hopeful decision to freeze her eggs, knowing the treatment could take away her ability to have children.

<div>We thought we had time. We thought we had a backup plan. But life had more challenges in store.

<div>In 2024, just before our wedding, Caitlin was diagnosed again this time with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. We put everything on hold. Our world shifted again, and our focus turned to survival.

<div>Caitlin fought hard and finished treatment. But the cost of that fight was steep we’ve now been told that she won’t be able to carry a child or use her own eggs. Just recently, we attempted to use the eggs she froze years ago… but none survived the thaw.

<div>It was one of the hardest days of our lives. The grief of losing that last physical connection to a biological child is something words can’t fully describe. But even through all the loss, we haven’t lost our dream of becoming parents.
</div>

<div>That dream lives on, thanks to the selfless love of Caitlin’s sister, who has offered to carry a child for us. Now, our only path forward is to create embryos through donor eggs and IVF.
</div>

<div>This process is expensive (over $11,000) and not something we can do alone. We are asking, with full hearts, for help.
