<div>Cady Loud is a 14 year old that has a genetic disorder called Vascular Ehlors-Danlos. The Vascular type is the most severe, life threatening type to have. Back in August she started coughing up blood and when they done some scans they found a spot on her lung. She got sent to Texas and they done a procedure called a Bronchoscope and it showed that she had a lung bleed. They done everything they could without risking her life. Fast forward to now she started having pain in her ribs/side and chest. We took her to Batson’s children’s hospital where they done more scans and found two new lung bleeds. She needs to see a specialist in Baltimore as soon as possible and it will be a costly trip, with no certainty of how long she will have to be there. On top of that she will have a follow up consult in Texas where they are going try to coordinate her care so that she won’t have to make as many trips to Baltimore. Cady and her family are very thankful for any help received. It’s a terrible feeling and place to be to know your child needs something medically and you’re not able to fund it alone.
